Refund and Return Policy

At Mercadito Capital INC, we strive to ensure you’re complete satisfaction with every purchase. Please read our refund and return policy carefully.

Eligibility for Returns:

Items must be unused, in the same condition that you received them, and in their original packaging.
Perishable items such as fresh produce, dairy, and frozen goods are non-returnable due to health and safety regulations.
Non-perishable items like canned goods can be returned within 14 days of receipt.

Non-Returnable Items:

Gift cards
Perishable goods (fresh produce, dairy, frozen items)
Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

1. Initiate a Return:

To start a return, contact our customer service team at info@mercaditocapital.ca with your order number, details of the product, and reason for return (evidences as photos). We will respond with further instructions.

2. Shipping Returns:

Once your return is approved, we will provide you with a return shipping label. Pack the item securely and send it back to us using the provided label.
Return shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or defective item).

3. Inspection and Refund:

Upon receiving your return, we will inspect the item and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.

Fresh Products:

Due to the perishable nature of fresh products, we do not accept returns on these items. However, if you receive a damaged or spoiled product, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Provide a description of the issue and photographic evidence to support your claim. We will review the information and, if approved, issue a refund or replacement.

Canned and Non-Perishable Products:

Canned and non-perishable items can be returned within 14 days of delivery. They must be unopened and in the original packaging.
Follow the general return process to initiate a return and obtain a return shipping label.

Damaged or Defective Items:

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at info@mercaditocapital.ca with your order number, details of the issue, and photographic evidence.
We will arrange for a replacement or issue a refund based on the severity of the damage.

Exchanges:

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, contact us at info@mercaditocapital.ca.
